Uncategorized  |  May 2, 2016

In addition to the mandatory application that must be completed every two years by agents to renew their individual insurance license, agencies with a business entity license (major lines) must also submit an application to renew their license by Sept. 30.

Renewal applications should be submitted through NIPR. Click here for instructions.

Don’t know if you have a business entity license? A business entity license is required for any business entity (corporations, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, general partnerships) conducting the business of insurance in Ohio.

You can check ODI’s Agent/Agency Locator to see your business entity information by selecting “Business Entity” in the drop down menu next to “Search For.”
